Shain Cohen, our Founder, began her career in senior healthcare over 30 years ago. In addition to being a caregiver for her own elder parents, Shain has worked directly for Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC), several Assisted Living Providers, Memory Care Communities and Hospice. Her direct and extensive experience in New Jersey and New York has given her the insight families require when making lifestyle decisions for their beloved elders.

We are a fee-for-service company, and do not get paid by the senior living communities. This allows us to provide totally unbiased referrals to the senior living residences which best suit our customers’ needs. We work directly for our client and/or their beloved Elder. Our experienced team includes a NJ and NY licensed RN who can provide a thorough assessment as needed, to allow us to properly determine care needs and identify the senior residence, nursing facility, homecare, or service that will accommodate those individual needs.

Our EAG-Partners, which include elder law attorneys, realtors, geriatricians and other trusted professionals may be referred to provide additional support and services to our families and their elders.

That is the heart of our business. We understand that the senior living industry presents daunting information, unfamiliar jargon and often healthcare and legal implications. Our goal is to demystify all this information and provide as much information as possible to allow our clients to make the best educated decision. Caring for an Elder parent, relative or friend can be difficult when you lack support and guidance. With so much information and in many cases Misinformation, it is essential that families and especially Elders partner with us to advocate on their behalf.
